An Artificial Intelligence (AI) based Water Quality Index Detection and Ground Water Potential

Water is the elixir of all creatures in this world. The drinking water is an essential for survival of human beings. Underground water is the major source of human being to receive water, the quality of which is deteriorating over the past two decades due to various polluting factors. This creates a necessity on identifying the water quality index (WQI). The analysis of water quality index not only facilitates the lives of human being but also influences the cattle life and agricultural purposes. This paper introduces a novel methodology of implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in determining the Water Quality Index (WQI) and the results are compared with the performance of reinforced algorithms like Support Vector Machine (SVM), Logistic Regression, Naïve Bayes algorithm etc. This proposed work chooses Thiruvallur district of Tamilnadu in India for measuring and analyzing the quality of the underground water using the proposed Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithm.
