Recognition of Brain Tumors using Convolutional Neural Networks

This paper implements an algorithm capable of pre-classifying images with the presence of brain tumor and separating them from healthy images, for a primary detection of the disease. In specific, this paper identifies the recall and accuracy obtained by the algorithm, both in healthy images and in images with the presence of a pathogenic factor. In this way, cross-validation is used so that it is possible to assess the generalization capacity of the network.
