A Vector Fitting Enhanced GSTC-FDTD Method for Broadband Analysis of Dispersive Metasurfaces

Over the past ten years, metasurfaces are a research focus in electromagnetics field, they offer possibilities to manipulate electromagnetic waves in unimaginable ways a decade ago. Here an enhanced finite-difference time-domain method with generalized sheet transition conditions is proposed for simulation of dispersive metasurface. Compared to the previous methods, the susceptibility extracting process is optimized, which makes it more accurate in broadband analysis. An example is presented to validate this enhanced method.
