Massively Parallel DGTD with Alternate-Buffer Remote Memory Access Method Based on the New Generation Sunway Supercomputer

In this paper, a massively parallelism with the alternate-buffer remote memory access (RMA) method for the discontinuous Galerkin time domain method based on the new generation Sunway supercomputer is proposed. The alternate-buffer parallelism is used to reduce the communication between cores groups. The local memory of slave cores is devided into two parts to enable simultaneous calculation and communication with RMA. Compared with the parallelism without RMA and alternate-buffer, the proposed method has higher efficiency and achieves parallelism with one million cores on the new generation Sunway supercomputer.
