Electromagnetic Properties of High-Speed Moving Targets Coated with Non-Uniform Plasma

In this paper, the model of moving dispersion medium is established based on the Lorentz transformation Finite-Different Time-Domain (Lorentz-FDTD) method for investigated the EM properties of high-speed moving targets coated with plasma sheath. The effect of different non-uniform distribution conditions of the plasma on the electromagnetic (EM) scattering characteristics of high-speed moving targets is considered. The results shows that the different distribution of the plasma sheath affects significantly the backward EM scattering from the target when the target is in high velocity.
