Innovated Education for an Innovative Generation -On Teaching “RF and Microwave Circuits” (Invited)

How to excite students' interest in learning a hard and abstract subject on applied electromagnetics is the focus of modern era faculties. This work presents a deeply innovated classic teaching/learning approach, the so called Project Based Learning, i.e. PBL approach. Details of how we conduct the classroom teaching as well as the arrangement of technical contents are explained. Years of classroom tested experience demonstrate that this way of teaching is effective in building students' own understanding of the subject and generate a sense of academic interest.
