Scattering Center Parametric Modeling of Target above on the Rough Surface

In this paper, under conical wave incidence, the backscattering field from a rough surface is firstly calculated by the physical optics (PO) method. Meanwhile, based on magnitude of surface current calculated by po, the strong scattering point and its scattering intensity can be established, based on the backscattering field, the high-resolution range profile (HRRP) is simulated through the inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT). through the characteristics of the HRRP and the geometry of the rough surface, length parameters and frequency dependent para -meters are established. Then the scattering center parametric modeling is constructed. Based on this modeling, HRRP is reconstructed. The new HRRP is compared with initial to verify the effectiveness of scattering center parameterized modeling.
