Design and Realization of a Nearby Lightning-Magnetic Field Environment Simulator

This paper designs and develops a nearby lightning-magnetic field simulator. The simulation result shows that the magnetic field distribution in the parallel double current loops structure is uniform; the magnetic field waveform characteristics are consistent with the injection current waveform. The magnetic field simulator can produce a pulsed magnetic field with a peak value of 869.27∼3267.45 A/m by adjusting the injection current level. The magnetic field change rate increases with the increase of the injection current level, and the maximum change rate can reach
$2.651\times 10^{9}\ \mathrm{A}/\mathrm{m}/\mathrm{s}$
. Similar to the simulation results, under the same injection current level, the magnetic field intensity and waveform characteristics at different positions in the loops are basically the same, and the field distribution is good.
