Study on the Conical Logarithmic Spiral Antenna Array

Some configurations of conical logarithmic spiral antenna (CLSA) arrays are simulated and discussed. CLSA array is a high gain broadband wide beam circularly polarized antenna array, which can be used in radar and communication systems, however, we find performance degradation when we arraying CLSA. We study the array's performance base on the distance between active regions of elements, which is the critical fact when we constructing an array. Finally, an array strategy which can effectively avoid performance degradation is given.
