An efficient process to find the root cause of LCD panel bubble issue

The presence of bubbles in Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) panels remains a persistent challenge for panel manufacturers. Identifying the root cause of this issue requires a thorough qualitative and quantitative analysis of the air bubbles. In this paper, we propose a novel method for determining the root cause of LCD panel bubble issue by combining Raman spectroscopy with Temperature Programmed Desorption - Time Of Flight Mass Spectrometry (TPD-TOFMS). Raman spectroscopy is used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of bubble components, while TPD-TOFMS enables the determination of the amount of gas evolved from the heated organic materials used in LCD panels. By analyzing the resulting data, it becomes straightforward to identify the root cause of the bubbles. The method proposed in this paper offers a reliable and efficient way to address the LCD panel bubble issue, which has important implications for the electronics industry.
