Robot Autonomous Navigation Based on Sound Detection Technique

In this study, an autonomous navigation system is designed to accurately guide the robot to the target positions by using a sound detection technique. Firstly, a microphone array is constructed to capture the intermittent sound signals sent by the robot in real time. Secondly, noise processing of the received multi-channel sound signals is performed by using an amplifier circuit, comparator circuit and filtering algorithm. Finally, the time delay of arrival (TDOA) is used to perform data fusion processing for the filtered multi-channel sound signals and guide the robot to the target position.
