Design of bird flight attitude and track signal recording system based on multi-sensor distribution

The acquisition of position and attitude data in the flight state of birds is important for the study of group interaction based on the analysis of bird flight position data. In this paper, we introduce a distributed bird load system that can record the trajectory data and the attitude data of different parts of birds in flight state simultaneously. The system is divided into two parts, master and slave, with a total weight of about 12g, a volume of about 27*24*16mm

for the master device, and 25*13*7m

for the slave device. The system is used to collect data from pigeons in free movement in the sky. The results show that the system can record the posture and position information of different parts of the bird simultaneously and stably without affecting normal flight. Researchers can use this system to analyze the position and posture data of experimental animals, especially birds in free movement or flight, which provides a set of portable experimental tools to further study the behavioral activities of birds in complex environments.
