Power Control Structure of Doubly-fed Induction Generator Supplied by Current Source Converter

In the paper, the power control structure of a doubly-fed generator (DFIG) is considered. The classical Field Oriented Control (FOC) and the control with the multi-scalar variables of the DFIG are applied in the control system. The rotor side of the generator is connected to the Current Source Converter (CSC); the stator is directly connected to the AC three-phase grid. The new static feedback linearization of DFIG is proposed to increase active and reactive power control accuracy. The simulation and experimental investigation in the 2 kW generator confirms the theoretical issues.
