Wide range LLC resonant converter design and control strategy

Conventional LLC resonant converters have limitations in their gain characteristics and cannot operate properly in wide range input scenarios. To solve the adaptation problem of LLC resonant converter in wide input voltage range, this paper introduces a new full-bridge-half-bridge control strategy, which is based on full-bridge LLC resonant converter and can achieve stable output voltage by smoothly switching the topology between full-bridge and half-bridge. This strategy can accommodate a wide input voltage range and maintain high efficiency. In the specific implementation, the article presents and analyzes in detail the implementation principle, control algorithm and system experiments of the full-bridge-half-bridge control strategy. The method has important practical significance and engineering value, and can be widely used in power conversion systems.
