Drop Simulation Analysis and Structure Optimization of Heated Cigarette Device Based on Ansys Workbench

To study the causes for the damage of heated cigarette device under drop impact, based on the finite element analysis, the initial design model of the device was established by using the Pro/E. Then, its FE model was set up with Ansys Workbench and the drop analysis was performed with the Pro/E. The force and deformation of the heated cigarette device under drop were analyzed by Ansys analysis. According to the results of simulation, the base frame structure optimization of the heated cigarette device was conducted. The results show that the displacement and deformation of the base frame of the heated cigarette device at the moment of lifting was 2mm, the average stress at the maximum stress was 9MPa, and the yield strength of the plastic material was 60MPa. After optimization, the displacement and deformation of the base frame of the heated cigarette device at the moment of lifting was 1mm, and the average stress at the maximum stress was 60MPa. The stress was 7.2MPa, and the yield strength of the plastic material was 120MPa.The stress was 7.2MPa, and the yield strength of the plastic material was 120MPa. According to the simulation results of this study, the structure of the device was optimized. After optimization, the stability of the device structure was improved and the anti-drop strength was increased.
