Digital Technology for New-Type Power Systems in the Context of "Dual Carbon"

To achieve the "dual carbon" goal, energy is the main battlefield, and electricity is the main force. In order to contribute to the "dual carbon" goal, China is actively building a new-type power system, promoting digital transformation, and ensuring national energy security and sustainable development strategy. This paper first expounds the necessity of building a new-type power system and reviews the enabling direction of digital technology. Then the new-type power system is summarized, the connotation and development requirements of the new-type power system are summarized, and its development status is briefly expounded. Finally, based on the needs of the development of new-type power systems, the common digital technologies of new-type power system development are sorted out. This paper covers the current status, development needs and application prospects of new-type power system digital technology, which can provide some reference for the current research and power system development around new-type power system digital technology.
