Pulse Interference Suppression for Wireless Shore Power System Considering Energy Supplying Priority

The interference caused by sudden load change in the wireless shore power system (WSPS) weakens the stability of the system. Thus, a pulse interference suppression strategy is proposed, which adopts a power allocation method based on work mode recognition algorithm (WMRA). The method realizes that the pulse load power is preferentially provided by the wireless power transfer system (WPTS), making full use of the shore power. If the WPTS cannot meet the total power demand, the insufficient part is provided by the hybrid energy storage system (HESS). For the HESS at the ship-side, an improved virtual impedance parameter design method is proposed to achieve power reallocation between the lithium battery and the supercapacitor. The high energy density of lithium batteries and the high power density of supercapacitors can be fully utilized by this method. A prototype is built to verify the proposed strategy. Experiments show that the dc load voltage on the ship-side can be quickly stabilized after being disturbed by a pulse load.
