Cascaded Neural Network Controller for Speed Control in Idtc Based Switched Reluctance Motor

Switched Reluctance Motors (SRMs) use the indirect torque control (IDTC) control approach to manage the motor's output torque. By adjusting the stator current, the IDTC approach indirectly regulates the motor's torque. A position control stage and a current control stage make up the two steps of the ITC technology. During the position control phase, a position sensor or an observer is used to estimate the location of the motor's rotor. Using the positional data, a torque-speed characteristic of the SRM with the help of Cascaded ANN Controller. The present management stage receives the desired stator current after that. In IDTC, an initial current is produced based on the required torque after the current in each phase of the SRM has first been measured. Then, using a PI controller, the voltage in every stage is modified by contrasting the initial current with the actual current and using the difference as the basis for modification. The converter obtains the required voltage from the PI controller in order to generate the required current. The inverter converts the DC voltage into an AC voltage that has the right frequency as well as magnitude to deliver the required torque.
