VOX: Voice of the Xtreme, an Augmentative and Alternative Communication Device

VOX is an augmentative and alternative communication device that can be used for children with disabilities and difficulties in communication. It is a known fact that communicating the bare minimum is what every human deserves at the least. By developing this device, it is made sure that this is possible. Only a minute fraction of children with speech disabilities have access to Advanced Assistive Devices (AAD) because they are still very expensive and beyond affordability for a major population of people in India.To make these Advanced Assistive Devices available for the common multitude of people is one of the goals of VOX. So, what can be suggested is to create a cost-efficient device that can be used to help break down the communication barrier between our worlds, so as to reach them effectively. The device is touch-sensitive with an operating system on its own. The features like voice recording and certain animations help to create an interactive and sound environment for learning.
