Measurement-Based Extraction and Analysis of Multipath Component for Suspension Bridge Scenarios

In this paper, a measurement campaign conducted to investigate the characteristics of the vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) wireless channel in the context of a suspension bridge environment is introduced. Based on the measurement, the main multipath components (MPCs) that significantly affect the channel are extracted. The analysis is performed on the power, delay, and Doppler frequency of these main MPCs. The differences and connections between the extracted and measured values are compared and analyzed, providing a better understanding of the impact of MPCs caused by the unique structure of the bridge on the V2V channel.
