Optimization of Steam Power System Operation Based on Improved Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm

With the development of the times, steam power systems have been widely used in factories due to their superior performance. In order to meet the thermal and electrical needs of the entire factory, further optimization of the steam power system is needed to adapt to the development of the factory's business. The research in this article is based on the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm for optimizing the operation of steam power systems, aiming to upgrade the steam power system through the improved particle swarm algorithm. This article tested the steam energy consumption of the steam power system before and after using the particle swarm optimization algorithm through experiments. It was found that when the electrical energy consumption was both 22kg, the steam energy consumption of the steam power system after using the particle swarm optimization algorithm was 68kg. The steam energy consumption of traditional systems is 70kg. From this experimental result, it can be seen that using improved particle swarm optimization algorithm can reduce steam energy consumption, and it also proves that the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm has a good fit with steam power systems.
