Design of Campus Parking Guidance Experimental Platform Based on Raspberry Pi

This paper focuses on enhancing the practical teaching of embedded system development, Internet of Things technology, and other related courses, and a campus parking guidance experimental platform based on Raspberry Pi is designed for this purpose. The platform enables users to obtain vehicle information and parking space status information through license plate recognition, query and reserve available parking spaces through the Baidu cloud server and WeChat public account. It also offers parking space navigation, code scanning for space occupation, and functions for parking timing and video monitoring through WebSocket instant messaging and WeChat applet. Experimental testing demonstrates that the platform runs stably, displays real-time parking space information, and provides a good human-machine interaction experience. It can be easily applied in practical teaching and provide a platform for comprehensive curriculum design and graduation design.
