Fuel Consumption Prediction Model Based on Segmentation of Ship's Voyage Trajectory Data

In this paper, an intelligent ship fuel consumption monitoring system that collects key parameters of the ship is designed, and the segmented data processing is carried out for the collected ship voyage trajectory, and the processed data are used as input for wind speed, port draft, starboard draft, current speed, port rudder angle and ship speed to ground, and the ship fuel consumption data are used as output for modeling and analysis using an artificial neural network model to predict the fuel consumption level under different voyage conditions to support further optimization of the ship fuel consumption in voyage.
