A Comparative Study of Directory Fuzzing Tools

Different web hacking activities in numerous internet apps have recently expanded dramatically in cyber security. The security of one's organization web applications is integral as they contain sensitive information which may lead to exploitation of resources. There are several tools in Penetration testing that assist organizations in improving themselves by analyzing their websites for various sorts of vulnerabilities, difficulties, security risks, and so on. Directory Traversal is one of the most common vulnerabilities found in web applications and through which attackers can increase their attack surface. To achieve this Directory fuzzing tools such as Gobuster, Dirbuster, Wfuzz, and Feroxbuster are examined in this study, and their comparisons are made.
