Application of Windowed ICA-Based Clutter Removal Method to Microwave Breast Multi-Tumor System

This paper proposes a windowed ICA-based clutter removal method (WICD) for microwave breast multi-tumor systems to address the challenge of skin clutter affecting the localization and imaging quality of tumors. The method involves adding a window to the signal to find the entropy and using independent component analysis to decompose the tumor signal, followed by imaging using the delayed multiplication algorithm. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm improves the imaging accuracy of marginal and multiple tumors while suppressing skin clutter to enhance imaging quality.
