Fully Printed Soft Triboelectric Nanogenerator for Self-Power Device

Triboelectric nanogenerators (TENG), particularly in wearable electronic devices, portable self-powered systems, and human-machine interfaces, have transformed the field of renewable energy collection and utilization since 2012. Printed electronics in nano friction motors offer several advantages, including low manufacturing cost, flexibility, scalability, high energy efficiency, small size, repeatability, and consistency. This paper introduces a single-electrode TENG fabricated using a printed composite electrode, consisting of silver paste doped with carbon nanotubes (CNT) encapsulated inside polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). The paper demonstrates the excellent conductivity and stability of the printed composite electrode by optimizing the ratio of silver to CNT, the number of single cycles, and the cycle time. The findings provide a valuable reference for the development of self-powered stress recognition devices based on flexible TENG, showing immense promise for practical applications in self-powered electronics.
