Ultra-High Amplification Properties of PT-Symmetric Photonic Crystals

This paper introduces PT-symmetric systems into periodic one-dimensional photonic crystals with specific structures through logical combination methods. By designing and optimizing the structure, a new photonic crystal model is constructed, effectively suppressing optical loss and scattering, thus achieving an ultra-high amplification of the transmission rate up to the order of
$10^{308}$
. The eigenmodes and eigenfrequencies in the photonic crystal are calculated by the scattering matrix method, determining the working state of the photonic crystal and discussing the physical mechanism.
