Use of Textronic Sensors to Detect Moisture Conditions in Mattresses

This paper presents a moisture detection system included in a textile mat, dedicated for use in the tourism and accommodation sector (hotels, boarding houses, dormitories, etc.) and the medical sector (hospitals, DPS, hospices, sanatoriums, etc.). The sensors were made by embroidery on one of the layers that make up the mat. In the course of the research work, among the many configurations tested, the sensor configuration with the greatest stability of parameters was selected.
