Demonstration of Full-Duplex Magneto-Inductive Communication for Underwater Applications

This paper focuses magneto-inductive (MI) communication and discusses a novel transceiver’s configuration that can enable full-duplex (FD) mode of communication. The paper demonstrates full-duplex communication between two nodes (Node A and Node B) by setting up in-lab experiments. Furthermore, the paper presents the results to evaluate the effect of self interference with the help of three cases, which is a key challenge in any full-duplex communication system.
