Impact of Safe Permisilbe Limits on the Background Level of the Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Field

At the beginning of 2020 in Poland, safety permissible limits related to the intensity of the electromagnetic field (EMF) in the general public environment were changed. What is more in the following years the fifth generation (5G) mobile technologies began to be widely introduced. Both of these facts caused serious fears of part of the society concerning the potential and considerable environmental EMF intensity increment. On the occasion of conducting other research on the impact of the radiofrequency (RF) range EMF on humans, measurements of the RF EMF background level were made in 2020 and at the end of 2022. The paper shows how the background of RF EMF has changed over almost three years in the spot where the measurements were made.
