Bayesian Networks based the working status judgment model for light buoys in the Shanwei Port area

This paper analyzes the working status of light buoys in the Shanwei Port area, using the research method of Bayesian Networks. By comparing the abnormal states of light buoy anchor chain length and unit distance calculator as well as light quality, the status of the light buoy is estimated. This method is based on the equation for calculating the length of the light buoy anchor chain in accordance with the International Maritime Organization guidelines, combined with judgment based on data during normal operation. When applied in actual navigational accidents, the results obtained from this method are close to the actual situation. Therefore, this paper proposes a safe and feasible method for estimating the light buoy status recognition model.
