Resilient Fault-Tolerant State Estimation for Systems over Sensor Networks with Intermittent Faults under Weighted Try-Once-Discard Protocol

The problem of resilient state estimation with intermittent faults is studied for the discrete system over sensor networks under the Weighted Try-Once-Discard (WTOD) protocol in this paper. A fault estimator is established to estimate intermittent faults, so as to ensure that the state estimator can maintain performance regardless of whether the system has intermittent fault. The WTOD protocol is used for deciding information transmission between nodes. Moreover, the resilient estimator was devised to restrain the detrimental influence caused by imprecise estimator parameters. Through the recursive linear matrix inequality technique, the $H_{\infty}$ performance constraints in a finite-honzon is warranted. Eventually, the practicability and validity of the suggested approach is demonstrated through a numerical example.
