Force-Distribution-Function-Based Control Strategy of Double-sided Linear Switched Reluctance Motor

Linear switched reluctance motor (LSRM) has been widely used in position control system, but due to its unique biconvex machine structure and energized excitation mode, it will cause electromagnetic force ripple. The electromagnetic force ripple suppression method mainly includes direct instantaneous thrust control and force distribution function control. This paper takes the double-sided linear switched reluctance motor (DLSRM) developed by the laboratory as the object. First, introduces the structure and working principle of the DLSRM. Then, aims at the electromagnetic force ripple suppression problem of the motor, a control strategy based on the force distribution function of inductance rate of change is proposed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulation. The results show that the method proposed in this paper has a good effect on the suppression of electromagnetic force ripple.
