Prescribed Performance Control for Switched Nonlinear Systems

This paper presents a prescribed performance control scheme for a class of switched nonlinear systems. First, the prescribed performance control (PPC) is used to guarantee the transient and steady-state performance of the tracking error. Then, the bounds of all signals in the resulting closed-loop system are ensured by the adaptive control and the dwell time method. At the same time, the ‘complexity explosion’ is avoided by using command filters. At the end, the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is demonstrated by a simulation.
