Research on Sensor Technology Based on Flame Spread, Smoke Movement and Entrainment Characteristics

As urbanization has been leaping forward, the number of high-grade communities that symbolize modern cities has been on the rise. However, there still exist a significant number of old communities in many places. Old communities are characterized by numerous hazardous sources, large fire load, high population density, complex building structures, and difficult evacuation. Fire in residential buildings of old communities often result in significant economic losses and casualties. Accordingly, fire in residential buildings of old communities have become a widely discussed topic that attracts the attention of the entire society. In this study, fire models using Pyrosim fire simulation software were developed for different materials and ignition points. The objective is to investigate the realtime detection and analysis of fire alarms in residential buildings of old communities. The development regularity of flame in old communities residential buildings by analyzing temperature, visibility, CO concentration, and other parameters over time. Furthermore, the sensor network of residential buildings in old communities is positioned using the routing node degree model and the RFLC algorithm of WSN, such that a theoretical basis is laid for the realtime monitoring and analysis of fire alarm data in old communities and for enhancing the timeliness and reliability of fire alarm.
