Event-Triggered Control for Time Delay Repetitive Control Systems with Equivalent Input Disturbances

For a class of repetitive control (RC) systems with state time delay, an equivalent-input-disturbance (EID) estimation method is proposed to achieve effective suppression of unknown disturbances and high-precision tracking control of periodic reference inputs. Meanwhile, to save communication resources, a novel event-triggered mechanism (ETM) is developed to determine whether the current data should be released into the zero-order-hold (ZOH). The controller and observer are designed collaboratively in the form of linear matrix inequality (LMI) under the constructed augmented closed-loop system. Finally, the effectiveness and feasibility of the devised scheme are illustrated by simulation analysis.
