An Improved Acoustic Diffusion Equation Model for Long-Channel Underground Space

Based on the acoustic diffusion equation model, a compensation strategy of “acoustic escape compensation” (AEC) is proposed to make it more suitable for the acoustic characteristics of long-channel underground space. Simulation experiments were conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed compensation strategy in long channel underground spaces, using sound pressure level (SPL) as the evaluation parameter. Results show a good suitability of the “acoustic escape compensation” model (AEC model) in underground spaces.
