Pattern Identification of Gas-liquid Two-phase Flow Using Ultrasonic Reflection Method

Aiming at identification problem of gas-liquid two-phase flow pattern in horizontal pipeline, a two-dimensional geometric subdivision simulation model of typical gas-liquid flow pattern is established by using multi-physical coupling simulation technology of finite element method. A multi-receiver distributed ultrasonic testing system was designed, and an identification method based on ultrasonic reflection echo method was proposed. The experimental results show that gas-liquid two-phase flow can be identified by analyzing ultrasonic echo characteristics, which provides a theoretical basis for identification of gas-liquid two-phase flow pattern.
