A Novel Disturbance Rejection Control Method to Improve the Dynamic Performance of PMSM

To increase the robustness of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) control system against parameter perturbation and load disturbance, a new linear active disturbance rejection control strategy based on high-order integral observer is presented. First, a thorough second-order complete drive model that takes into account model error incorporates the electromechanical dynamic model of the conventional permanent magnet synchronous motor drive system. The second-order fully driven model's lumped disturbance is estimated using a fourth-order integral extended state observer. To increase the capacity to compensate for disturbances, the novel observer is integrated into the linear active disturbance rejection controller of the second-order full-drive model of PMSM. In addition, the speed control link and current control link of PMSM are integrated, which effectively simplifies the control structure of the drive system. The Lyapunov method is used to prove the ultimate uniform bounded stability (UUB) of the proposed enhanced linear active disturbance rejection speed control scheme. Finally, the excellent disturbance robustness of the control method is fully verified by simulation.
