Meteorological Factor Analysis of Ice Coating Galloping of Transmission Line

Ice coating galloping is the main reason that affects the safe and stable operation of transmission lines in winter. By analyzing the meteorological conditions of transmission lines before and at the time of ice coating galloping fault and combining with the actual law of galloping of transmission lines, this paper summarizes the meteorological characteristics of transmission lines when ice coating galloping occurs. First, the relative humidity of the air is high. Second, obvious cooling occurs and the temperature is maintained at -5℃-0℃. The third is to have a continuous and stable wind, and there is a certain Angle between the wind direction and the line. The above three points are of great significance for the prediction and early warning of ice coating galloping.
