Astronomical Big Data Analysis by the CoLiTec Software

The tremendous technological progress provokes the creation of a huge volume of the high dimensional astronomical information, which need to be analyzed in time in the online or real-time mode. In this paper we have presented a few aspects of the big data analysis process in astronomy, reviewed them, and provided some major approaches of them. We have presented the examples of big data sources, astronomical instruments, different data processing algorithms that are used for the big data analysis process in astronomy. The paper describes an applying of the Collection Light Technology (CoLiTec) software to process online the different types of astronomical information using the big data analysis tasks. This is achieved by using of the developed OnLine Data Analysis System (OLDAS) mode that helps to resolve the different astronomical big data analysis tasks, like data preparation, preprocessing, data mining, processing, transforming, and extracting.
