Circularly Polarized Fractal Array Carrying OAM Generated from Characteristic Modes Analysis

In this paper the characteristics modes are used in the analysis of element fractal for projects an antenna array. The fractal element is obtained using Koch transformation implemented in Scilab

. From the analysis of the characteristic modes, two orthogonal modes were identified and selected. Besides orthogonal modes are generated for yield circular polarization and fields carrying orbital angular momentum. The results computational were obtained and analyzed in the full wave simulator. The results computational shown a good return loss range and axial ratio of project, therefore, can be applicated to vehicular communication standards, which operate in the 5.9 GHz band.
