An UWB Measurement Error Model for Accurate Positioning Investigation

In this paper, an ultra-wide band (UWB) positioning model is proposed and the influence of nonideal measurement conditions on UWB positioning accuracy is evaluated and analyzed. By extracting the difference features between phase results of typical positioning field test and ideal simulation, the influence of nearfield radiation, receiver eccentric rotation, orthogonal dimension coupling and positioning device tilt are investigated with the UWB positioning model, which provides fundamental error analysis basis for UWB position applications.
