An Adaptive Radio Frequency Interference Suppression Method for Multi-Functional Cognitive Radar System

In this paper, an adaptive radio frequency inter-ference (RFI) suppression method based on software defined radio technology is proposed for multi-functional cognitive step-frequency radar system. The radar system is capable to perceive the surrounding spectrum environment and optimize the detection strategy to suppress RFI adaptively. Meanwhile, to reduce the influence of direct current noise and interferences, the superheterodyne receiver is adopted in the radar system and redundancy transceiver is introduced for signal coherent purpose. The results of field experiments validate the excellent performance of the multi-functional cognitive radar system in RFI suppression.
