Point-of-Care Microwave Scanner for Monitoring Breast Cancer Treatment: An Initial Stability Analysis

Microwave imaging has been proposed for monitoring breast health and cancer treatment. Consistency of the images collected from volunteers over time is crucial, as this enables detecting changes in the breast for monitoring applications. In this paper, the stability of the permittivity reconstruction for left and right breasts of a healthy volunteer during successive scans and at three different time points is examined.
