Optimization Design of Intelligent Storage Management System Based on Internet of Things

The traditional manual warehousing operation mode and data collection mode have been difficult to meet the rapid and accurate requirements of warehousing management, which has seriously affected the operating efficiency of enterprises and become a major obstacle to the development of enterprises. How to improve the production efficiency of the warehousing system and reduce the shortcomings and deficiencies of manual operation, time-consuming and laborious is a problem that modern product manufacturing enterprises need to pay attention to. With the wide application of Internet of Things technology in material storage management, various information services and applications can be realized after the product information is transmitted to the information processing center through the network. With its advantages of informatization, intelligence and intensification, the Internet of Things provides a solution to the problem for the warehousing system. The purpose of this paper is to propose a warehouse management system based on the Internet of Things, which adopts advanced data analysis methods and uses computational intelligence technology to provide intelligent warehouse management for Industry 4.0. And through the data collected from cases, the results show that the method proposed in this paper can improve the production efficiency and picking accuracy by 23.29% and 15.56%.
