Spectrum Fragmentation Evaluation and Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation for Elastic Optical Networks

This paper proposes a spectrum resource evaluation mechanism and spectrum utility function in Elastic Optical Networks (EON). Using this function, the paper proposes an improved dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm, effectively improving system transmission efficiency.
