A Non-isolated Two Port Converter for Battery charging and Auxilary supply applications

The incessant reduction in the price of PV modules and surge for the EV charging system utilisation on electric vehicles (EV) lead to the assimilation of solar photovoltaic (PV) inclusion into the system. This paper propose an EV battery charging system with a Non-isolated Two Port Converter (TPC) under all loading conditions. An EV battery is considered across one output port while the auxilary supply across other output port. This TPC converter has the capability to generate both buck and boost outputs simultaneously. The performance of TPC is tested under input voltage resembling variation in solar insolation and load variations, also the constant current and constant voltage control are implemented to verify the controller performance with TPC.
