Efficient and Enhanced Advanced Encryption Standard Algorithm with Chaos-Based Key Expansion

In order to address the increasing computational power and emerging attack methods, ensuring the security and confidentiality of data is of utmost importance. To overcome the limitations of the traditional AES encryption algorithm, an improved AES algorithm is proposed. The key expansion algorithm is enhanced by introducing a chaotic sequence, thereby improving the resistance of the round keys against attacks. Furthermore, the algorithm's computational complexity is significantly reduced by merging computational steps and utilizing lookup tables, resulting in a substantial improvement in execution efficiency. Experimental data comparisons demonstrate that the improved encryption algorithm possesses higher security and execution efficiency.
