Frequency Dependence Analysis of MMW Clothed-Skin Exposure using Regression Algorithm

A fast regression method was developed for the dosimetry estimation of a clothed-skin to electromagnetic fields exposure at millimeter wave (MMW) frequency. This study is the first to verify the effectiveness of proposed technique in a wide frequency range from 6 to 90 GHz. The result indicates that in the environment where horizontally polarized waves dominate, the proposed method will have a significant estimation error in the skin surface temperature elevation above 60 GHz. On the contrast, in an environment where vertically polarized waves dominate, the dependence of estimation error on the frequency, oblique incidence angle, and the cloth-to-skin air gap spacing will decrease.
